ORIGIN: Cerrado Mineiro, Minas Geraís, Brazil
ROAST LEVEL: Medium
TASTING NOTES: Rustic baking chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips, with notes of peanut taffy, sesame cookie.
FARM NOTES:Cafeicultores de Minas is made up of coffees from 8 different producers in Minas Gerais, mostly from the region of Patrocinio. On average, these farms are sitting around 1000 meters above sea level, planted in Mundo Novo, a natural cross of Bourbon and Typica, and Catuaí, which is a cross of Mundo Novo and Caturra. The dry fragrance releases a scent of peanut candies, rustic cocoa, and note of tanned leather. The wet aroma has more of a creamy nut tone to it, like hazelnut and Brazil nut, still with the soft roast tones rounding out the profile. Bittersweetness gives way to notes of peanut taffy, and sesame cookie in the aftertaste, along with an amaretto aromatic hint.
